Today we offer thanksgiving for the lives of Fr. Jerome Langtry  who is celebrating the  60th anniversary of his ordination and Sr. Carmen Shields who is celebrating 60 years as a member of the La Sainte Union des Sacre Coeur. After the basket collection at 10 o'clock Mass,  John Martin acted as master of ceremonies during a short celebration which he conducted as follows...

7th World DTL Championships in Australia

ImageDavid McCormack (Cogran, Lusmagh) and Patrick Donaghy (Belmont ) are part of a twelve man team selected to participate in the World Championship clay pigeon shoot DTL (Down The Line), which takes place in Waga-Waga, New South Wales from the 7th to the 9th April.

If the sponk is the first flower of the New Year the snowdrop is the first bloom of spring. This little flower reflects the great milk way and the miracle of the earth’s rotation in relation to the sun. It is now time for the northern hemisphere to have its reawakening to a new spring.
